The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has established goals for contract participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for projects to be let on March 7. Certified DBEs are encouraged to submit bids for portions of the work that they are certified to perform. Bids should be submitted directly to the prime contractors that are authorized to bid on the projects.
